Aerolineas Argentinas is the largest airline in Argentina both in the domestic as well as the international domains. It is also Argentina’s national airline. The year of its inception is 1949 when it was given the name Aerolineas Argentinas. Before 1949, Aerolineas Argentinas operated as Aeroposta since 1929. It is considered to be one of the safest airlines in Latin America. It is interesting to note that Aerolineas Argentinas is a major sponsor of the Argentinean national football team.
